Portfolio, Privacy & Intellectual Property Notice

The architecture diagrams and project descriptions presented on this website are personal career-portfolio materials created to illustrate architectural concepts, design approaches, technology patterns and professional experience. They are not intended to reproduce or disclose any employer, client, vendor or partner's proprietary system designs, confidential information, source code, internal documentation, trade secrets or security-sensitive implementation details.

Visuals are intentionally simplified, generalized and reconstructed as architectural approximations. Names, topology, data flows, system boundaries, infrastructure details, integrations and visual representations may be altered or abstracted to protect the privacy, confidentiality and intellectual property of the organizations and brands associated with the original work.

Company names, product names, logos and trademarks, where referenced, remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to provide historical career context or identify technologies and business domains. No affiliation, endorsement or ownership of third-party intellectual property is implied.

HOW I APPROACH ARCHITECTURE

Architecture is a bridge between business consequence and engineering detail.

These principles summarize the through-line from early ERP work to cloud-native identity and modern AI systems.

Start with the operating model

Understand the business process, users, money movement, controls, risk and organizational boundaries before choosing technology.

Design the whole system

Application, data, integration, identity, security, observability, cost and operations belong in the same architecture conversation.

Stay close to implementation

An architecture is credible when it survives code, configuration, integration failures, security constraints and production realities.

Communicate across levels

Translate C-suite priorities into product choices, delivery plans and engineering decisions without losing intent between layers.

Design for change

Favor modularity, extension points, standards and clear contracts so systems can evolve as business requirements change.

Engineer for consequences

For enterprise systems, failure modes, auditability, compliance, availability, security and cost are architecture—not footnotes.

LIVING ARCHITECTURE ARCHIVE

Built to grow project by project.

I have left explicit slots for the architectures you want to add from 1995 onward. Each can become a full project case study with the business problem, architecture decisions, technology stack, outcomes and one or more diagrams.
